Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is already an Edmonton Oiler.
That is, if you ask almost any fan donning copper and blue.
Judging by the plethora of YouTube comments flooding Future Considerations’ ‘The Future of Hockey’ video featuring the Red Deer Rebels standout, the Oilers faithful are pining for a line of Jordan Eberle and Taylor Hall centred by Nugent-Hopkins.
“He’s gonna look great in an oiler uniform, dashing through the middle dishing passes too Hall and Eberle,” 719sikora posted.
Jmurdera echoed the sentiments.
“He’s got the Datsyuk creativity and hands combined with Gretzky’s vision with the puck,” he commented. “The thought of RNH on a line with Taylor hall is something magical. If they take him, expect to see the oil in a cup hunt by 2013.”
The Edmonton organization may not yet have their answer as to whom they’ll make the first overall selection in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, but all questions will be answered on June 25th in Minnesota.
