The YouTube sensation is coming to Prime Time.

The Edmonton Oilers have recalled prospect Linus Omark from the Oklahoma City Barons in the wake of injuries to forwards Ales Hemsky and Shawn Horcoff.

The Swedish sensation is set to make his debut at home against the Tampa Bay Lightning Friday.

Omark went silent after failing to make the team out of training camp, refusing to answer questions from reporters about how he felt politics got in the way of him making the Oilers and if Edmonton was the best organization for him to be in.

“I’m good with a guy being a little bitter, upset that he doesn’t get his chance right away,” Oilers head coach Tom Renney told the Edmonton Journal. “All I wanted was to have Linus go there, work hard, be a good teammate and give himself up to the coaching there. Guys have to realize it’s all a process.”

Originally drafted by the Oilers in the fourth round, 97th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, Omark leads the Barons with 13 goals and 26 points in 26 games, including a five goal outing plus the shootout winner against the Toronto Marlies in November.
