From Aaron Vickers:

61 Canadian Hockey League players were named as invitees to the 2011 NHL Combine Friday.

Perhaps none more surprising, or intriguing, as Myles Bell.

The defenseman, who scored 14 goals and 45 assists in 66 games with the Regina Pats this season, was involved in a single vehicle automobile accident outside of Calgary a week ago.

Bell was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No update on his condition has been given since the April 30th accident.

Held in Toronto from May 30th to June 4th, the combine gives NHL teams four days of evaluating draft eligible talent in a series of medical, physical and psychological testing less than a month before the 2011 NHL Entry Draft in St. Paul, MN. The two-day draft will be held on June 26th and 27th.
