But for Hockey Canada, the journey starts now.

Canada unveiled a roster of four goaltenders, 16 defensemen and 26 forwards for its summer development camp, the first official grouping in identifying and assembling its potential roster for the tournament in Edmonton and Calgary in December. Continue reading

The opinions of Seth Ambroz from the casual fan and the scouting community alike aren’t so different.

The talent is there, but something is lacking.

That something has caused the New Prague, MN. native to take a rather nasty tumble in draft rankings throughout the year. Ambroz was originally ranked seventh heading into Future Considerations’ preliminary ranking for the 2011 NHL Entry Draft in September after an impressive second campaign that saw Ambroz net 22 goals in 56 in United States Hockey League action.
