From Aaron Vickers:

After trading picks 30 and 39 to the Phoenix Coyotes, the Toronto Maple Leafs have picked Tyler Biggs with their newly acquired 22nd overall selection.

Perhaps one of the more enigmatic players available in the draft, Biggs possesses all the physical tools to be a dominating power forward at the professional level.

He stands at six-foot-two, 210-pounds. He’s got an aggressive mean streak. Isn’t shy to drop the gloves. Biggs skates well and has a powerful stride that compliments a shot that can dent the twine. He’ll bulldoze to the net with the puck without any shyness.

Still, Biggs leaves scouts wanting more. He has limited offensive creativity and will never be mistaken for a playmaker. His temper can lead him to get into penalty trouble, and Biggs is prone to invisibility for lengthy stretches.

His blend of size, physicality and speed almost absolutely ensure him an NHL career, but his role has yet to be determined.
