From Aaron Vickers:

The Ottawa Senators select Mika Zibanejad sixth overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

Perhaps the most intriguing forward after Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Jonathan Huberdeau, Zibanejad plays a powerful game in all three zones, throwing thunderous checks, bringing high energy and winning battles along the boards. He’s not dynamic offensively, but can power his way to the net with a six-foot-two, 190-pound frame. Needless to say, he doesn’t get bullied off the puck very often with his blend of size, aggressiveness and passion.

Zibanejad plays a very polished game with no glaring weaknesses. While his foot speed isn’t a big strength, some minor work this offseason to increase productivity in his stride will go a long way to upgrading the Swede from a potential first liner to a potential franchise power forward.
