From Aaron Vickers:

For the second time in as many years, the University of Michigan has lost a premier netminder.

A season after losing Jack Campbell to the Windsor Spitfires, Michigan has lost Anaheim Ducks prospect John Gibson.

He added three goals in six games to help Team USA to a gold medal performance at the 2011 World Under-18 Championship, including the game-winning overtime goal against Sweden in the gold medal game.
