The Ottawa Senators announced Saturday that Jean-Gabriel Pageau has been returned to the Gatineau Olympiques of the QMJHL.
The 19-year old spent last season in Gatineau, leading the Olympiques all the way to the Presidents Cup final before being defeated in six games by the Saint John Sea Dogs, the eventual Memorial Cup champion.
Pageau had 32 goals and 79 points in 67 regular season games for Gatineau and added another 13 goals and 29 points in the Olympiques 2011 playoff run. The five-foot-9, 171-pound Gatineau, QC native is a highly skilled player and will be a huge asset to Gatineau`s offense this season.
