Defenseman Brandon Gormley has been returned to the Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL by the Phoenix Coyotes earlier today.
Gormley played in one preseason game, failing to record a point in over 16 minutes of ice time in a 2-1 shootout win over the Los Angeles Kings. Continue reading
The Ottawa Senators announced Saturday that Jean-Gabriel Pageau has been returned to the Gatineau Olympiques of the QMJHL.
The 19-year old spent last season in Gatineau, leading the Olympiques all the way to the Presidents Cup final before being defeated in six games by the Saint John Sea Dogs, the eventual Memorial Cup champion. Continue reading

Tomas Jurco will get the opportunity to defend his Memorial Cup.
The Saint John Sea Dogs standout was returned to junior by the Detroit Red Wings Friday night.
Jurco, Detroit’s first pick, 35th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, had 31 goals and 56 points in 60 games with the Sea Dogs. In Saint John’s march to the QMJHL title, Jurco had six goals and 18 points. He added four goals and five points in helping the QMJHL club capture the Memorial Cup. Continue reading
Tampa Bay Lightning announced the signing of Moncton Wildcats defenseman Daniel Milan to a three-year, two-waycontract Friday.
The six-foot-three, 194-pound blueliner had 14 goals and 38 points last season. Hew as the Wildcats top scoring defenseman and also led the QMJHL in points among rookie defenseman. Continue reading

The Chicago Blackhawks announced that forward Phillip Danault has been returned to the Victoriaville Tigers of the QMJHL Wednesday.
Danault was selected 26th overall in June.
Danault, the teams first round pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, was selected ninth overall in the 2009 QMJHL Entry Draft by Victoriaville.
The 18-year-old Victoriaville, QC. native scored 23 goals and recorded 67 points in 64 games last season for the Tigres. He also captained the team to the quarter-finals in last year’s QMJHL playoffs before being eliminated in four games to the eventual Presidents Cup and Memorial Cup champion Saint John Sea Dogs. Just days after defenseman Ryan Murphy signed a deal with the Carolina Hurricanes, another member of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft class has followed suit.
The Philadelphia Flyers have signed centre Sean Couturier, the club’s eighth overall pick from June.
